Job Description

Reporting directly to the Director of Corporate Finance, the Controller Assistant is responsible for finance regulatory related aspects (controlling, analyzing and reporting)   coordination, consolidation, and analysis of financial packages plans and forecasts and to provide information to management under minimal supervision.

  • Coordinates, consolidates, and analyzes financial plans and forecasts and provides information to management under minimal supervision.
  • Analyzes and interprets actual performance to plan, explains key variances, and makes recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Assist with monthly and quarterly end closing, year-end audits, ad-hoc requests, and other corporate financial mandatory requirements.
  • Responsible for monitoring and meeting regulatory compliance efforts, through training process owners, providing assistance with documentation, performing reviews, and completing testing as necessary. Accountable for critically analyzing processes and controls, identifying deficiencies, and assisting with remediation efforts.
  • Responsible for managing operational data and ensuring data integrity and accuracy
  • Development of system controls to ensure data integrity.
  • Assist the Corporate Controller in producing accurate and timely financial statements and regulatory reports.
  • Assist in special projects as necessary
  • Responsible on International taxation and Transfer Pricing.
  • Creating Report to OCS.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from leading university- Must
  • CPA, Minimum 3 years of manufacturing accounting experience in a Global environment.
  • Previous experience in public accounting preferred.
  • Experience in US GAAP- an advantage.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing company including a working knowledge of cost management systems, target costing principles, and financial evaluation tools and techniques.
  •  Proven Experience in a Global, Multi-currency Company.
  • Advance Excel skills, including advanced profiency in developing financial models and graphs.
  • Experience with SAP– Advantage.
  • Very strong analytical skills.
  • Good leadership skills with the ability to clearly communicate a vision, educate individuals and teams, and influence decisions.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Structured, Systematic and able to manage many activities in parallel, in a matrix structured organization.
  • Able to integrate massive detailed information from many parallel tasks into clear progress report.
  • Fluent English both writing and speaking – Must
