Product Marketing Director

Job Description

    Reporting to: VP, Business Unit


             ·            Own and lead the vision, strategy, marketing and all business aspects relating to the assigned product segment

             ·            Define and lead appropriate market segmentation and positioning in each one of the geographical regions we operate in

             ·            Responsible for setting the product roadmap, based on an understanding of the market and customer needs and developing solid value propositions. Drive the execution of the defined product portfolio forward and ensure successful New Product Introductions (NPI)

             ·            Develop the global marketing plan for the segment and relevant products, including pricing, distribution, communication and training. Responsible to create effective marketing and training toolkits and their deployment and usage across regions.

             ·            Represent the voice of the customer by constantly exploring new market and customer insights. Communicate and build rapport with key opinion leaders and “average” customers. Analyze Lumenis’ data systems such as CRM and web analytics to mine for new market/customer insights.

             ·            Coordinate activities in a multi-functional organization; including marketing, sales, operations, engineering, and services teams, while ensuring compliance with quality systems and regulatory requirements

             ·            Works closely with commercial and regional marketing team to develop go-to-market programs and ensure their execution towards business goals

             ·            Develop, execute, and motivate others on strategies, tactics, measurements, and operating mechanisms to deliver business results


    ·         Degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration

    ·         MBA from a leading institution - great advantage

    ·         3-6 years of hands-on experience in a global product marketing role, preferably in the field of medical devices and/or biotech

    ·         Experience in strategy consulting or corporate strategy - advantage

    ·         A passion for marketing and turning products into customer solutions

    ·         Healthcare product/industry/technical acumen  - advantage

    ·         Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to influence and motivate others in a cross functional organization

    ·         Fast learner and self starter

    ·         Proven ability to work globally; willingness to travel 20-25% of the time

    ·         Native English speaker - preferred. Additional languages would be considered an advantage
