Appointment of Dov Ofer as CEO of LumenisJanuary 3, 2007 - Yokneam, IsraelLumenis® Ltd., a global leader in the development, manufacture and sale of laser, light and radiofrequency-based devices for medical, aesthetic, ophthalmic, dental and veterinary applications, announced the appointment of Dov Ofer as the designated CEO of the company. The appointment will take effect once Mr. Ofer completes his duties with HP. Dov Ofer currently holds the position of Corporate VP and General Manager of HP-Scitex. Until the acquisition by HP, Mr. Ofer served as the President & CEO of Scitex Vision Ltd. Prior to joining Scitex Vision, Mr. Ofer managed Matan Digital Printing, one of the pioneering companies in the super-wide format printing industry. Dov Ofer holds an MBA degree from UC Berkeley and a BA degree in economics from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
